CASH
From 1st of May 2017 we don’t accept cash as a payment.
We want to contribute to a safer environment for our guests and staff. Another positive thing is that this contributes to less transport which is good for the environment.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
Check in is from 3.00 p.m and check out is before 12.00 noon. We can arrange early check in or late check out for a extra cost – please contact us at reservations@nordiclighthotel.com.
GYM
We offer you our own gym. It has everything you need to work your entire body, including treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical trainers and weights. The gym is open 24 hours every day of the week. Change and shower in your own hotel room, and access the gym with your room key.
INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION – ISO 14001
In order to get the certification there must be a clear focus on environmental improvements, the results must be recorded, and targets must be adjusted each year.
LUGGAGE ROOM
We offer complimentary luggage storage. If you arrive prior to check in or would like spend the day in Stockholm after check out, we will take care of your bags.
MINIBAR & IN ROOM SHOP
Minibar is available in all rooms. Here you will find soda, beer, both red and white wines of various sizes, as well as sparkling wine and champagne. There is also the possibility to mix your own gin & tonic or take a whiskey. You can also find different kinds of chips, chocolates and nuts and Swedish candies.
In Room Shop is available in all rooms except Standard Medium. Here you will find underwear from Björn Borg, toothbrush and toothpaste from Humble Brush, as well as presents in the form of a Swedish Dala horse or a scented candle from Björk & Berries. All our bathroom products from Björk & Berries are also sold at the front desk.
PARKING
Traveling around Stockholm is easier with public transportation than with your own car. Places are limited and needs to be pre-booked, Book your parking. Should our garage be full, we can direct you to another parking nearby.
RUNNING
Stockholm is a wonderful city to discover by foot. We warmly recommend a run along the water around the island Kungsholmen; you can make it a 1.5, 3, 5 or 6 Miles loop with our maps. If you want a shorter route, we suggest a run around the island of Gamla Stan. For a nice contrast to the city streets, take a walk or a run on the island of Djurgården, Stockholm’s green oasis. Take the tram from station T-Centralen at Klarabergsgatan outside Åhléns City 200 meters from us. The front desk will be happy to provide more suggestions.
SERVICE
The front desk is open 24 hours. In addition, we also offers laundry service, free wifi, mini bar, cable TV, chromecast, breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
SMOKING
Nordic Light Hotel and our summer terrace are non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed minimum 3 meters from our entrance.
STAY SAFE
To make a reservation you need to be 18 years of age.
We follow and educate all staff in the EU law GDPR.
After 10 pm, only hotel registered guests are allowed in the hotel rooms
STAY WITH YOUR DOG
We offer rooms for those travelling with your dog. These rooms must be booked ahead of time – please contact us at reservations@nordiclighthotel.com. A fee of SEK 400 per stay will be charged. Dogs are also allowed in our restaurant LYKKE.
