LYKKE 

– A contemporary interpretation of Nordic food and culture.

 

It may not always be a given to eat where you sleep while away. But in this case we recommend you try. Our hotel is all about treating you to the Nordic feel and hospitality, and our restaurant is no exception. With Nordic flavours and prime products in focus, we serve everything with a contemporary and international twist. The menu is mostly seafood and vegetarian, with ingredients and meat from the Nordic region.
But it’s not only the flavours that make this place a showstopper. The overall design vision of creative genius Todd Saunders and the unique pieces of furniture carefully selected from 10 different Nordic designers embody the Nordic essence. The taut ash framing functions as a centre stage where the colours, patterns, furniture and above all people add life and warmth to the scene. It is a contemporary dream of the Nordics, come alive.

Come have dinner with us at LYKKE. Sit at our community table or bring your own favourite people. Enjoy Nordic signature tastes and authentic food experiences, always created with great respect to natures own variations and resources and local producers close to our heart.

Lunch: Monday – Friday 11.30 am – 02.00 pm

Dinner: Tuesday – Saturday 05.00 – 10.00 pm

Between November 21 – January 6 are we serving food from or bar menu and the á la carte will be closed. Christmas table is served most days November 21- December 20 and our 5-course dinner is served on new year’s eve.

Also, a little heads up. We love music and will always make plenty of room for it. In our hearts, through our playlists, and even through live sessions with artists we’d like to introduce to you. So, expect important Nordic tunes to be part of your evening.

Weekend brunch as you know, is part of the best in life, but now we are making it even better. Every* Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 3 pm you can enjoy a Nordic brunch buffet with delicious food in our restaurant.

To the tones of energetic Nordic music we set up Caesar salad, smoked salmon, boiled crab claws and selected Nordic charcuteries. You will also find fish bisque, whole roasted chicken and a Nordic cheese tray and much more.

The dessert buffet is signed by our fantastic pastry chef Marita Ahonen – where our favorite is apple pie with vanilla sauce.

Christmas Table

 

As an entrée we serve lobster with mayonnaise and lemon.

You can then taste LYKKE’s pickled herring, herb herring and ”Brantevik” herring together with crab claws, shrimps, smoked whitefish, our aquavit- and dill marinated salmon as well as Västerbotten cheese pie with roe batter and several other delicious dishes.

On the cold-cut table you will find sausage of moose, brick smoked ham with whiskey mustard, smoked lamb roast and chicken liver mousse with cranberry jam. Of course you will also find the classics – meatballs, mushroom omelet with spinach, Swedish sausage which fits perfectly together with creamy Brussels sprouts.

The evening is rounded off at the dessert table signed by our pastry chef Marita with small almond cakes, rice à la Malta, cheesecake with jam and saffron cake.

Our breakfast buffet is a smorgasbord of delicious things. Enjoy everything from fresh fruit and juices to pancakes with home made jam and bread baked onsite. For guests who stays at the hotel, breakfast is always included in the room rate.

If you are not a hotel guest but still want to take advantage of our breakfast buffet, the price is:
